 6 Pound Wooden Soap Mold This wooden mold will make a block of soap measuring 4 1/2 x 15 inches, and up to 4 inches deep.  

The sides of the mold hinge open for easy removal of the soap.  The mold must be lined before pouring soap.

Note: the mold cavity is 1/8 inch over the size of the resulting block of soap to allow
for lining, and initial shrinkage of the soap block.

* A batch of soap using 5 lb of oils (7.7 lb oils, lye,water) will fill this
      mold 3 1/8 inches deep.
* A batch of soap using 6 lb of oils (9.2 lb oils, lye,water) will fill this
      mold 3 3/4 inches deep.
